CRAConnect didn’t start as a company. It started as a conversation.
Three years ago, after countless discussions with Clinical Research Associates across Europe, the US, and beyond, one pattern became impossible to ignore: CRAs were carrying enormous responsibility in clinical trials, yet lacked a dedicated space built for them to learn, connect, and grow in a way that reflected the reality of their role.
So we started with a community.
CRAConnect began as a simple but powerful idea: create a safe, supportive space where CRAs could talk honestly about their work. Not just the theory, not just the regulations, but what it actually means to be a CRA today.
The challenges, the pressure, the decisions that don’t fit neatly into SOPs, the skills you’re expected to have but are rarely taught.
What started as a small, global community quickly grew into something much bigger. CRAs didn’t just want connection, they wanted structure, recognition, and learning that truly reflected their role in modern clinical trials. And the industry was asking for the same thing.
Over the years, we’ve spoken with hiring managers, sponsors, CRO leaders, sites, and technology companies. Despite differences in roles, one message was consistent: the industry needs CRAs with strong fundamentals, practical knowledge, and a clear understanding of their responsibilities across increasingly complex trials.
That’s why we launched the CRAConnect Academy, a structured, multi-level learning and certification pathway designed for CRAs at every stage. From those entering the industry to experienced and lead CRAs who want their expertise recognized.
Learning doesn’t happen in isolation and every Academy level is embedded within the CRAConnect Community, where members learn together, share experiences, and support each other along the way.
As CRAConnect grew, it became clear that CRAs also needed visibility and a voice beyond digital spaces. That led to the creation of CRACONNECT LIVE 2026 — the first conference in the industry designed specifically for Clinical Research Associates. The annual conference brings together CRAs, sponsors, CROs, sites, and technology providers to discuss the future of monitoring, trial delivery, and the evolving CRA role.
Today, CRAConnect is a global ecosystem with three pillars:
CRAConnect exists for one reason: to equip Clinical Research Associates with the knowledge, confidence, and recognition they need to succeed in today’s clinical trial environment.
We believe CRAs are not “just monitors.” They are critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and the connective tissue of clinical research. Our goal is to train CRAs the way the role truly demands—through practical learning, shared experience, and community-driven growth.
And we’re only getting started. Welcome to CRAConnect.
